Golf Course

Golf course of an area of more than 80 hectares (197.684 acres) was built on property owned by the entrepreneur in a slightly hilly terrain. Resort built on the edge of Cesky kras (Czech karst area) 420 (1377.95 feet) meters above the sea level has, thanks to the climatic conditions, one of the longest golf seasons under the blue sky in central Europe.

The course’s par is 72, USGA Course Rating 74.4, and Bogey Slope Rating 139 (white teeing-grounds). The area of the putting greens varies from 459 to 812 square meters (from 4520.84 square feet to 8740.3 square feet) depending on the whole concept and difficulty of the particular hole. The complete area of the putting greens including the collars is 11 677 square meters (about 3 acres). The holes have about four or five teeing-grounds covering an area of 12 500 square meters (about 3 acres).

Grass mixtures used on this course such as the mixture of agrostis A4 + A1 for the putting greens and the mixture of fescue and agrostis for the short cut areas are a guarantee of exceptionality of this course. At the same time they are a challenge for the experienced green-keepers’ team.
