1. Type and Description of the Competition: Match play will be played according to the rules of golf without any compensation of handicap. Individual games of the qualifying competition are played on 18 holes. In case of a tie after the 18th hole, game continues until the first resolve. Rules do not allow the use of sighting device, caddy or driving the buggy.

4. Conditions of Participation: Albatross Golf Club Championships – match play is for club members only and only amateur players are allowed to play. Half of the players registered through the reception will be put on according to the HCP and the other half will be drawn. Drawing of players into pairs will take place June 27th, 2010 after announcing of the winners of the basic qualification tournament World Golfers Championship 2010.
Dates of individual rounds of the competition have preliminarily been set as follows:
Number of rounds and dates will be adjusted according to the actual number of players. Organizational Table of the Albatross Golf Club Championships – match play will be placed on the club’s notice board.
How to Challenge the Competitor: The higher seed in the organizational table is always the challenger of the pair. Contact information of the competitor are available at the club’s reception. The challenger is obligated to make reservations for the starting times. The challenger must announce the date and time of the game to the competition committee in sufficient advance at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . In case the players are not able to come to a conclusion about the date of their game the competition committee is allowed to set a date and time of the game. The competition committee is also allowed to set the alternative date of a game in case the game does not take place due to substantial reasons.
Game Not Played: If a player for any particular reason does not come to the arranged game he/she looses by default and his/her competitor automatically renders up to the next round. If the challenger does not challenge the appealed player, the appealed player automatically renders up.
Evidence of the Results: Players will receive, prior to the game, a stamped score card at the reception. Immediately after finishing a game, players will report the results of the game at the club’s reception – they turn in the score card with clearly noted results. On the turned in score card results from each played hole must be clearly visible and the score card must be signed by both players.
Settlements of Disputes: Individual games are played without the physical presence of a referee. If the head referee or more precisely the competition committee is not able to settle a dispute after the game, the competition committee is allowed to set a date for a new game. Disputes outside of golf rules (organizational and other) should be settled by the players in terms of mutual agreement the „fair play“. If there is no agreement the final word is up to the director of the competition after hearing both sides.
Charges: There is no starting fee for the individual games.
Final Announcement and Handing over of Prices: Announced will be the first players in each category and they will receive commemorative trophies. Winners of the categories will become the Champions of the club in match play for the year 2010 and their names will be engraved to the club’s commemorative cups. Festive announcement of the results of the Albatross Golf Club Championships – match play will take place within the announcement of the club’s round championships.
The competition committee reserves the right for technical changes or completion of the tournament regulations.
