The championship course, designed by renowned English architect Keith Preston, was opened in 2009. Located within sight of Prague, the eighteen-hole course can stand comparison with the best courses of its type in continental Europe. Its quality and difficulty have been tested by such names as Ernie Els, Pádraig Harrington, John Daly, Tommy Fleetwood, Matt Fitzpatrick, Francesco Molinari, Martin Kaymer, Danny Willett, Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood, Luke Donald and Rory Sabbatini in the DP World Tour tournaments (from 2014 to 2023). However, Albatross was actually put to its first stern test just two years after its opening, when it hosted two Ladies European Tour tournaments in 2011 and 2012.

One of the best courses in the Czech Republic has five sets of tees, measuring an impressive 6792 meters from the black tees (pro) and 5031 meters from the red tees (ladies). As a result, it poses a challenge for all categories of players and each golfer can set its difficulty individually. Its strengths include the variety of design and, above all, the quality of the playing surfaces, which are maintained all year round. No wonder the resort was featured in the prestigious list of the Golf World TOP 100 Golf Courses Continental Europe in 2019.
