Ahead of the new season, the Czech Pro Golf Team was officially introduced in Prague. The initiative brings together elite Czech female golfers, coaches, and professional support staff to create optimal conditions for systematic preparation, shared expertise, and mutual support. Its goal is to provide a truly professional environment that allows players to fully focus on performance and long-term development on the international stage.
The team combines joint and individual work, shared performance staff, data and know-how, as well as more efficient organization of logistics, recovery, and day-to-day preparation. The project also aims to support younger players as they transition into professional careers.
Two Albatross players are part of the Czech Pro Golf Team: Jana Melichová and Patricie Macková. Together with Sára Kousková and Tereza Melecká, they form a quartet of elite Czech golfers set to represent Czech golf at the highest international level.
Jana, a two-time LET tournament winner, will begin her season as early as next week at the PIF Saudi Ladies International. Following a successful comeback from injury, her aim is to build on last year’s consistent performances and complete a full season in peak condition.
Patricie will start her rookie season in three weeks in Australia at the Ford Women’s NSW Open. She is coming off an outstanding year on the LET Access Series, where a victory at the Lavaux Ladies Open and a fifth place in the Order of Merit earned her a card for the top European tour.
Both players see the team environment as an opportunity for benchmarking, sharing experience, and gaining fresh perspectives on their games—factors that can help them take the next step forward.
We are delighted that Jana and Patricie use Albatross Golf Resort for their preparation. We are proud that they can grow here, inspire young players, and serve as role models on the pathway to professional golf. We wish them every success in the new season.
