The weekend of 19–20 September 2026 was dedicated to one of the absolute highlights of the domestic golf season at our course, just as at many other clubs across the country – the Club Stroke Play Championship.
The two-round tournament delivered excellent sporting performances, plenty of excitement and truly tested the skills and preparation of everyone involved. Despite the difficult conditions and strong winds that gave the players no respite on the fairways, we can confidently say that it was an exceptionally successful event which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
The Tournament Committee prepared two different challenges for the players. On the first day, the competition was played from the standard yellow and red tees, providing an ideal opportunity to settle into the tournament and strategically secure a good position ahead of the final round.
Sunday, however, brought a true championship-level test, as all players moved back to the longer tees – white and blue. Combined with strong gusts of wind, it created a golfing experience that will be remembered for a long time.
A huge compliment goes to all players for the excellent way they handled the online scoring. Thanks to scores being entered consistently throughout the rounds on the official Czech Golf Federation server, fans in the clubhouse as well as those following from home were able to watch the dramatic development of the championship in real time. The atmosphere remained tense right up until the final putt.
After all the strokes from two demanding rounds had been counted, it was time to officially announce the winners. The titles of Club Champion and Ladies’ Club Champion for 2026 were claimed by Jan MRŇA and Kristýna CEJNAROVÁ.
